The Universe of Native

	Natives Life developed by a different roll of the dice on this planet. Multiple 'dominant' species emerged from the evolutionary process. There are, generally-speaking, two main forms of sentient life on the planet: predators and prey. Of these, there are further breakdowns by species. Species such as otters, rodents, dog-like species and bear-like species fall under predator. Prey include oxen, goats, rabbits and hares. No birds, felines, lizards or marine life have developed far enough to be measured among the co-dominant species.
	The Yu'Nyun It is unclear what planet the Yu'Nyun were from originally. It seems that the Yu'Nyun have landed on and taken over multiple planets in their species past. Their ships seem to be ready to travel vast distances in space, making it even harder to guess their origins. Their language is an odd series of clicks, hisses and low growls that the natives find hard to reproduce or even understand. Their written language is, however, learnable, and if a Yu'Nyun translator is not present, the two species can often interact using written language. The Yu'Nyun are not the only species that arrived on their ships. A multitude of gorillas travelled with them, as soldiers to protect the brittle Yu'Nyun bodies and laborers to carry out their designs.
	Environment The world that Native takes place in is rather different from our own. Strange creatures, along with familiar ones, walk the surface and swim the waters. The climate is much warmer, and so are the oceans. The inhabitants of the planet already had to struggle for survival when the Yu'Nyun arrived, as even certain plants were viscious predators.
	Technology The two different technologies on the planet are very distinct. The Yu'Nyun, who have apparently been technologically advanced for eons, have designs that are very delicate-looking, and based largely on aesthetics. The use or purpose of their tools and machinery are not often identifiable based solely on their features. The designs are organic, graceful and highly advanced. The Natives were well on their way to developing advanced technology, though their designs were highly functional, and beauty had not been addressed by those responsible for invention. Whatever it takes to do the job is what they use to create their parts. This also includes integrating any Yu'Nyun technology, which they quickly adapt to their own uses.
