MOM (Storytime): Onaya Bone, the wisest of all women, recreated the creatures for the deserts, and made her own race of people to care for them in her image, with their sharp features and athletic build. She gave them the strength and adaptability of the sand she had made them from, with the cleverness and iridescent hair of her favorite of creations, the ravens.
